For Teachers

Welcome to International Language Academy. We organize English, German, French and other language lessons at various companies and we also provide matching services between language teachers and private students everywhere in Japan.
We, therefore, need language teachers who are enthusiastic about teaching his/her language to Japanese people. We would be very happy to build a good and long term working relationship with you. If you provide excellent teaching services to our students, we can continue to introduce you to more lessons and/or students. So please join us! Register now!

English, Chinese, Cantonese, Korean, French, Italian, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese and other languages teachers are welcome!

Outline of the school

International Language Academy offers students and teachers with two plans: Normal Plan and Select Plan . The difference consists of the lesson fee paid to you by your students. You can apply for one or both of these two plans, but please note that the teachers for the Select Plan are chosen by more strict criteria.

The criteria for teachers applying for the Normal Plan and Select Plan and the registration procedure are as follows:

Normal Plan 《Criteria》
1. You must be a university student, a graduate school student or a university graduate.
2. You must have responsibility and enthusiasm for teaching and be able to communicate properly with students.

3. If you are Japanese, you must have high level language skills.

You can also apply as an interpreter. If you are accepted by us, we can offer you interpreting as well as teaching jobs.
If you want to apply also as an interpreter, please register using Japanese form. With the English form you cannot register as an interpreter.

After examining your application, you will be provisionally registered as a teacher.
↓
As soon as we have a potencial student to introduce to you, we will contact you by e-mail or by phone to proceed to the next step. It sometimes take time, but please wait for our furthe contact. In the meanwhile, if your contact details and/or your availability change, please update.
To update your data, please go to our website
1. Select "This is to update my registration."
2. Fill in your family name and first name in the requested spaces.
3. Fill in your E-mail and reconfirm in the requested spaces.
4. And then please fill in only the spaces where you want to update.
※The information from 1-4 are essential to identify and update your registration.

A copy of:
-Alien registration card (front and back)
-University Student Identification Card, if you are a student.
-Any document that testifies your graduate degree, if you are a graduate.

Interview

Registration complete.

You will be introduced students.

Note: At the first lesson, you will give　a free trial lesson (45min.).

Select Plan 《Criteria》

1. You must be a university student, a graduate school student or a university graduate.

2. You must have responsibility and enthusiasm for teaching and be able to communicate properly with students.

3. If you are Japanese, must have very high level language skills.

4. You must have extensive teaching experience and teaching skills.
e.g.）working for a big language school or teaching company classes.

5. You must have a good command of the Japanese language and have a good understanding of both Japanese and your culture.

6. You must have experience in business and be able to offer business level lessons.

You can also apply as an interpreter and/or a translator. If you are accepted by us, we can also offer you jobs as an interpreter and/or a translator.
If you want to apply also as an interpreter and/or translator, please register using Japanese form. With the English form, you cannot register as an interpreter and/or a translator.

《Duties of a Select Plan teacher》

You must design lesson plans that suit your students´individual reasons for studying the language.

At the end of every lesson, you must give a brief report to students about what they learned, his/ her weak points, other observations and encouragement etc. using the form provided by us.
